Loan periods are 4 weeks for and you may have up to 4 items at a time checked out on your record. (Note: Reference books, periodicals, and movies do not check out of the library)
Fines - Fines accumulate on all circulating materials if they are not returned by or before their due dates.
Visitors to the Derrell C. Roberts Library may use the computers for a one-hour period each day. Please stop by the Circulation desk to sign in, and a staff member will give you a one-time access code.

GALILEO stands for GeorgiA LIbrary LEarning Online, an initiative of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. GALILEO is an online library portal to authoritative, subscription-only information that isn’t available through free search engines or Web directories. Over 10,000 journal titles are provided in full-text. Other resources include encyclopedias, business directories, and government publications. No matter where a citizen lives in the state of Georgia, a library nearby provides access to GALILEO.
Dalton State College visitors and alumni may access GALILEO resources at the Roberts Library. Simply click on the GALILEO link from the library's web page or LibGuides or CLICK HERE.
Librarians are available to offer research assistance through Research Appointments, email or by phone.
