Your professor may place items "On Reserve" at the front desk in the library. Reserve items are usually for in-library use only with a two hour time limit; however, some items may be taken out of the library or have longer loan periods.
How do I check out materials?
You must have your Roadrunner card to check out materials. Loan periods are until the end of the semester for students and you may have up to 10 items at a time checked out on your record. (Note: Media materials (such as DVDs) check out for one week. Reference books and periodicals do not check out of the library)
Fines - Fines are charged on all circulating materials if they are not returned on time. There is a one week grace period beyond the due date during which fines will not be charged.

Currently enrolled students may access the computers in the Computer Lab or near the Circulation desk by logging in with their Dalton State user name and password. Each semester, students receive a $15.00 credit on their RoadRunner card for printing. All students, faculty, and staff can add funds to the Roadrunner Card by:
Front Desk: Reserve items, DVDs, laptops
First Floor: Reference books, magazines, newspapers, Government Documents, Microfilm, Videos, Computers, Copier/Printers, Library classroom, Computer Lab, Vending Area, Video Rooms, Study Rooms, VR Lab
Second Floor: Circulating books, seating areas
