Derrell C. Roberts Library: For Students
Your professor may place items "On Reserve" at the front desk in the library. Reserve items are usually for in-library use only with a two hour time limit; however, some items may be taken out of the library or have longer loan periods.
Several professors have placed Reserve Tests at the front desk. Click on the link to access a pdf copy or you may stop by the Circulation desk and make photocopies.
Library workshops are for students at Dalton State College. Staff and faculty are also welcome to attend.
Workshops will be held in the Wireless classroom (Room 113) located on the 1st floor of the Derrell C. Roberts library.
Reservations are required for each workshop!
How do I check out materials?
You must have your Roadrunner card to check out materials. Loan periods are 3 weeks for students and you may have up to 10 items at a time checked out on your record. (Note: Reference books, periodicals, and movies do not check out of the library)
Fines - Fines accumulate on all circulating materials if they are not returned by or before their due dates. Fines accumulate up to the day prior to the date items are recovered from the Library book drop. Fines remain on patron records until the full amount has been paid
Late fees are .25¢ per book per day to a maximum of $5.00
