Educational Learning Theories: Chapter 10 Learning Enrichmnent Activities

Activity 1: Bloom's Taxonomy Original Domains. Find each of the major levels of Bloom's Taxonomy in the word search below. When you find a word, highlight the word with your mouse and then click to see if you are correct. If you are correct you will see the word appear with a green check mark on the left side. After you find the last level move on to activity 2 below.

Activity 2: Bloom's Taxonomy Revised. Below you will see Bloom's Taxonomy revised with numbers listed for each level. Start at the bottom and work your way to the top by clicking on each number. When you click on a number you should see the name of the level appear on the right side. Once you have seen all six levels you are ready to move on to activity 3.

Activity 3: Bloom's Taxonomy Matching. In this activity you will match the original old domain of Bloom's Taxonomy  on the left side with the new revised domain on the right side. You can either click and drag from the term on the left to the term on the right or you can select the drop-down list to find the correct term. Once you have matched all terms click the "Submit" button which will be on the lower right part of the activity. After clicking with "Submit" button you should see you score and if you didn't get them right you can do the activity again. Once you have matched all correct answers you are ready to move on to activity 4.

Activity 4: Bloom's Taxonomy Revised Cognitive Domains Drag and Drop. In this activity you will see the 6 domains of Bloom's revised taxonomy and 6 examples of each domain below. You should click and drag the example at the bottom to the correct domain. When you are finished you should click the "Submit" button on the lower right side of the activity. If you are correct you will be notified with a message but if you are wrong on any of the matches you will see a message "Try Again". To play the activity again refresh your browser and you can play until you get it right.

Activity 5: Cognitive Process Dimension and Knowledge Dimension Matrix. In this activity you will  click and drag the verb at the bottom to the correct location. When you are finished you should click the "Submit" button on the lower right side of the activity. If you are correct you will be notified with a message but if you are wrong on any of the matches you will see a message "Try Again". To play the activity again refresh your browser and you can play until you get it right.

Activity 6: Levels of Psychomotor Domains. In this activity you will see a pyramid with 6 numbers- one for each level. You should click on each number to see the corresponding name for the domain along with a description on the right side. Once you have clicked on all 6 domains and viewed the description you can move on to activity 7.

Activity 7: Levels of Psychomotor Domains and Examples Drag and Drop. You should see the 6 levels of psychomotor domains with correspond example for each domain below. Match each example by clicking and dragging it to the correct domain. When you are finished click on the "Submit" button on the lower right side to see if you have the correct answers. If you miss any answers you will see a "Try Again" message and you can refresh your browser to play again. Once you get all answers correct you can move on to activity 8.

Activity 8: Levels of Affective Domains. In this activity you should see a pyramid with numbers 1 through 6. Click on each number to see the name of that particular domain. A name and description should appear on the right side each time you click on a number. Once you have clicked and viewed each level move on to activity 9.

Activity 9: Matching Levels of Domains and Examples. Match the correct domain with its description. You can either click and drag from the term on the left to the term on the right or you can select the drop-down list to find the correct term. Once you have matched all terms click the "Submit" button which will be on the lower right part of the activity. After clicking with "Submit" button you should see your score and if you didn't get them right you can do the activity again.There are 2 matching questions so when you submit  the first question you should be able to advance to the next matching question.

Activity 10: Matching the instructional strategy to the correct domain. In this activity you will match the correct instructional strategy on the left side to correct domain on the right side. Once you have finished click the "Submit" button to see your score. You can replay until you get them all correct. This is the final activity for chapter 10 so when you are finished move on the the next section.
