Online Education and Assessment Committee: Information from Spring 2023 Meeting

 

1. Use the IREPO grant Grace Neff spoke about to pay for Quality Matters training for faculty. Completing Quality Matters training could be a great student success activity for faculty annual evaluations. The next step would be to take this idea before the Faculty Development Committee and the Faculty Evaluation Committee to discuss QM training as an opportunity for faculty. Then, we would bring it to the Faculty Senate Fall semester.

 

2. Create a course in GeorgiaVIEW that faculty teaching online would need to take before being able to teach online. Hopefully we can finish creating the course this summer and take the idea to the Faculty Senate Fall semester.
