Grants and Sponsored Programs: Finding Funding

Foundation Directory Online

The Foundation Directory Online provides detailed grant information, including recipients, descriptions, and types of support, and helps you determine which funders are most likely to fund your work, how much to request, and what to highlight in a grant proposal. The data in Foundation Directory Online is compiled from IRS Forms 990 and 990-PF, grantmaker websites, annual reports, printed application guidelines, the philanthropic press, and various other sources.

Grantmaker Profiles include:

  • Independent foundations
  • Company-sponsored foundations

Government Grants

Grant Systems - These are systems and tools required for the registration, application, and reporting processes connected to federal awards.  Closely read the guidelines for the grant to determine which system is required to submit your application.  In some cases, it can take 2-3 weeks for your registration to be approved.  We must also ensure that the College has the appropriate officials registered.
