Collaborate Ultra - Virtual Live Meetings

Collaborate Ultra is our Virtual Live Meeting Tool

Use this tool to conduct virtual meetings (similar to Skype). You can display your slides, share the computer screen, or use a whiteboard (drawing tools). You can also record your virtual meetings to share with students.

To access Collaborate Ultra, log into your course in GeorgiaView D2L, navigate to Content and add an Existing Activity, then search in the External Learning Tools for Collaborate Ultra  -

Video 2 shows how to get recordings of meetings to get them closed captioned on Youtube. The video ends with a section on best practices for sharing a video.

Closed Captioning

You may download the recording as a mp4. Once you download the video, upload it to youtube (login to your Google account, set it as private) and Youtube WILL automatically caption the video. It takes a few minutes usually less than 10.
