This guide was created to assist students and faculty in the School of Nursing at Dalton State College. The purpose of this guide is to list resources available through the Roberts Library as well as on the Internet.

Dalton State College's Department of Nursing offers both Associate's and Bachelor's degrees in Nursing. These programs provide students with the knowledge and clinical expertise necessary to give direct nursing care to patients in a variety of settings.
The program of study includes general education and nursing theory, and provides opportunities to care for patients of all ages. This program is approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEXRN) for Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
