Bark, Boulders, Books, Bytes: Methods of Exchanging Information Throughout History 

Cliff Landis, Web Services Librarian at Georgia State, spoke to students and also gave a book binding workshop.  Students wrote essays for the opportunity to attend the workshop with Cliff.

Kent Whitaker has written several cookbooks including the Georgia Hometown Cookbook, Smoke in the Mountains Cookbook, and has a new book coming out in October 2012,  The Meals of War: Feeding the Greats to Grunts in World War II
