Our kick-off event for this year's Book Festival is a Field Experience led by David Brown, who was formerly a park ranger.  He will lead participants on a tour of Civil War locations in Dalton, including Dug Gap, Fort Hill and the Dalton Depot.

Finding Your Civil War Ancestors

Date: Monday, April 9, 2012

Time: 2:30-4:30 pm

Location: Roberts Library, Wireless Classroom

In this workshop, David Brown will assist students and the public with looking up their ancestors in the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System databases, as well as other print resources in the Roberts Library collection.
