The Free Ones:
Windows 10 Video Recorder- If you have Windows 10 or 11 you already have a built in video recorder/editor on your computer. It is usually found in the Camera app in Windows 10.
Screencastomatic- (ScreenPal) My personal favorite for videos under 15 minutes. You can record as many videos as you want as long as each video is under 15 minutes. For best results save the video to your computer and then upload to YouTube. Screencastomatic offers a video editor for an additional price.
Handbrake- Will significantly reduce video file size without losing quality.
Shotcut A free tool that allows for "splicing" and editing videos.
