ENGL 2111 and 2112 World Literature: About the Library

Library Lingo

GIL-Find - Our online catalog.  Use this to find books located in Roberts Library, or search for items located all over the state of Georgia.  If we don't own the title you need, we can usually borrow it from another library.

GALILEO (Georgia Library Learning Online) - GALILEO provides access to over 100 databases which contain articles, web sources, media and electronic books.

Circulating Collection -  These are books you can check out of the library and are found on the 2nd floor of the library. Most check out for 3 weeks, but it you need it longer you can renew.

Microfilm/Microfiche - Back in the day, libraries could not keep copies of every magazine, journal or book, so they converted the documents to film.  Librarians are always available to help you use the microform readers/printers!

Roadrunner Card = Library Card   - Always have your Roadrunner Card with you!  You'll need it to check out materials from the library.
