Researching in the Archives
Items may be requested from the Archives by appointment only.
To schedule an appointment, call 706-272-4447 or ask for Lee Ann Cline at the Circulation Desk.
Upon entering the Archives, each new patron must fill in and sign a User Registration Form and show a piece of photo ID. By doing so, the patron agrees to observe the rules and guidelines.
DSC staff will retrieve records stored in the archival storage room. Visitors are not permitted entry into the archival storage area.
Archival Collection
The Archives Collection houses photos, newsletters, yearbooks, and other significant materials relating to the history of Dalton State College. In addition to these items, rare and signed editions of books published by Georgia authors are available in the Archives.
The Archive contains the College Catalogs (Dalton Junior, Dalton College, and Dalton State College) in hardcopy from 1967 until 2011. Online copies are available from 2011 to the current year at http://catalog.daltonstate.edu/.
