FOOD CHECK

“Food Check” appointments allow you to sit down one-on-one with Anne Loughren (Assistant Director of Campus Recreation) and ask any questions you have about eating healthier.  Keep in mind you must be a DSC student, staff or faculty member and have paid your $20 campus recreation fee.  Anne can also check over your food journal to see where your unhealthy patterns or foods are.

Food Check is about food quality, routine, and basic nutrition. For diet plans, specific diets for diabetes, etc., you need to consult a nutritionist or registered dietician.

How do I make an appointment for “Food Check”?

1. Email Anne (aloughren@daltonstate.edu) and let her know what you would like to discuss during your appointment.

a. Include what days and times you are available for an appointment.

b. Appointments are 45 minutes. You can schedule multiple appointments.

c. Appointments are made based on my schedule with yours so give me options.
