MLA-style documentation is used primarily for research papers in English, literature, and other humanities courses.
The MLA Style guide was created using the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, 7th ed. by Joseph Gibaldi and the Hodges’ Harbrace Handbook, 15th edition. A link to the complete MLA Style library guide is in the box to the right.
