Internet and Computer Options
Free and reduced Wi-Fi: Many providers are offering no cost or low cost options for students who need to take classes online. Companies are also lifting data caps to help you more easily navigate virtual learning. Although Dalton State does not promote or endorse any specific vendor, one of these options may work:
Dalton State and Eduroam: This service allows college students, faculty, and staff to easily access Wi-Fi wireless networks at thoughts of locations including more than 600 colleges, universities, and research facilities in the US and over 100 other countries. Login with your DSC credentials. More information: Eduroam connection instructions, DSC Wi-Fi instructions, more information on Eduroam, List of Eduroam locations in US.
Other internet and computer options: Families with students (elementary through college) can enter their zip code and find offers available in their area for free internet and low cost computers. Check out EveryoneOn now.
