Social Work Research
This guide was created to assist students and faculty in the School of Social Work at Dalton State College. The purpose of this guide to list resources available at the Roberts Library as well as on the Internet.
For additional assistance with research, please contact the Reference desk to schedule a Research Appointment. During the 1/2 hour research session, a librarian will provide individualized help with a specific question or need.

School of Social Work
At DSC we offer the associate’s degree with a two-year plan of study and the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree with a four-year plan of study.
We also have a special grant called the IV-E Program to train child welfare workers for a career in child welfare in the Georgia Department of Family and Children’s Services.
After being accepted into the upper-division of the DSC BSW Program, a student may apply online at http://gadfcs.org/randr.
Dalton State is a chapter of the Phi Alpha Honor Society.
