What is APA Style?

APA Style consists of guidelines published within the 6th edition of The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.

At Dalton State, professors in the Department of Social Sciences, School of Nursing, School of Social Work, and School of Business Administration may require students to use the APA style for various types of assignments.

Copies of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association are available at the Reference desk.

HINT:  Click on the Tutorials tab to watch videos explaining how to format an APA-style research paper, include in-text (or parenthetical) citations, and create citations for the References page.
